POLICIES
Make-ups: If a student is unable to make a scheduled class, please notify us in advance and we will be happy to arrange a make-up class (subject to availability) during the same session. Make-ups must be taken in a different time slot of the same class – for example, a Saturday Darling can make up a class by joining a Sunday Darling class that has less than 6 students – and cannot be carried over into the next session.
What to Wear: Students should come to gymnastics class in athletic wear (leotards are recommended for girls and are available for purchase at the gym, tucked in t-shirts and shorts or leggings for boys). Ballet shoes are recommended but not required for dance class. Hair should be secured back away from the face with clips or ponytail holders. (Since students may be rolling on their heads, ponytail holders without plastic or metal decorations are recommended). Pants should be no longer than ankle-length and should be free of snaps, zippers, and buttons. Please, no socks or tights as students will tend to slip on the trampoline and other equipment when wearing them; cotton or other non-slip leggings are fine.
Twins & Multiples: We require a one-to-one child to caregiver ratio in the Dynamic Duos class and in the open gyms unless otherwise indicated. We understand that this can be difficult for parents of multiples, however. Please email us at info@dumbogymnastics.com if you’d be interested in a special class for multiples and let us know what times are usually good for you.
PAYMENTS/PROMOTIONS/REFUNDS
Free Trial: First-time students may participate in a trial class after signing the registration forms. Payment for registering students is due in full on or before the end of the first class.
Multiple Class Discount: If your child signs up for two classes a week (for example, gymnastics and dance), the second class is 10% off.
Reservations: You can reserve your child’s place in his or her requested class by making a deposit of $50 towards your child’s tuition. Tuition payment is due in full on the first day of class. No refunds for credit card purchases after 120 days.
Refunds: Refunds are available for the remaining classes in a session. However, $50 of tuition is non-refundable and the registration fee is non-refundable.
Credit Card Privacy Policy: DUMBO Gymnastics will not share your credit card information with any third party.
