This class introduces our youngest gymnasts to a variety of movements on the floor, trampoline and preschool-sized gymnastics apparatus. The instructor will lead children and their caregivers through fun, developmentally-appropriate activities, including obstacle courses and games, that change each week. The class is designed to help these students develop strength, coordination and motor skills while interacting with other children their age.

In this class, your DUMBO Duckling will learn basic gymnastics skills on the floor and on preschool-sized gymnastics apparatus. The instructor will lead the Ducklings through activities and circuits designed to teach skills such as forward and backward rolls, handstands and cartwheels. DUMBO Ducklings will also work on progressions leading to bar skills such as the glide, the cast and the pullover. DUMBO Ducklings will also use our trampoline as they are learning new skills.
Dance for Ducklings

In this class, your Ducklings will learn basic ballet and modern dance positions and movements, such as first and second positions, plies and leaps, and explore moving his or her body with creative movement techniques.
DUMBO Darlings
Ages: 5-6 years old

In this class, your DUMBO Darling will learn basic gymnastics skills on the floor and on preschool-sized gymnastics apparatus. DUMBO Dynamites

In this class, the DUMBO Dynamites will focus on learning tumbling skills on the floor and trampoline, including handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, backbends, and more advanced skills at their own pace. The instructor will lead the Dynamites in drills and progressions, as well as conditioning exercises, to assist them in increasing their skills.
This class is designed for our almost-toddlers, who are beginning to stand and cruise and would like to work together on walking skills in a more structured and age-limited format than open gym.
Fun Night
Ages: 3-12

Cost: $35 1st child plus $20 for each additional sibling.
Notes: Must pre-register by noon day-of; must have minimum 5 children pre-registered to run it.
Fun nights include supervised open gym followed by pizza, juice and a G or PG movie at the end of the evening.

Open Gym
Class Duration: 60 minutes

Open Gym is supervised, unstructured play time in the gym: equipment and mats are set up but each child chooses where to play and what to do rather than moving together as a class. The children can spend extra time on a favorite apparatus or work on skills they are learning in class. The instructor intervenes as needed to help the children play safely (one at a time on each piece of equipment, etc). Each child under three must be accompanied in the gym by a parent or caregiver in a 1:1 ratio unless pre-approved by the staff.
